Description

  • Devise, arrange and promote holidays and travel options.
  • Sell holiday and travel products to customers
  • Ability to tailor make and plan tour costings
  • Improving our scope of tour packages
  • Work with hotels, airlines and other transport companies
  • Assist in planning holidays or complex tailor made itineraries for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with international partners to create and find attractive tour packages departing from Nigeria.
  • Updating tour packages in real time via our website and on our brochures.
  • Visiting local attractions to ascertain accommodation quality and suitability.
  • Liaising with coach operators, airlines, hoteliers and resort reps.
  • Make professional and accurate travel arrangements for clients including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations
  • Converse with customers to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required.
  • Compute cost of travel and accommodations, using carrier tariff books, and hotel rate books, or quote package tour’s costs.
  • Follow the company’s procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in the areas of: making travel arrangements, and building Passenger Name Records (PNRs) and profiles.
  • Plan, describe, arrange, and sell the itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives we offer.
  • Provide industry updates as well as airline promotions to clients.
  • Offer and provide travel insurance to customers.
  • Provide customer with TravelSafe Global Tours brochures and publications containing travel information, such as local customs, points of interest, or foreign country regulations.
  • Maintain awareness and adherence to our clients’ procedures, programs, and policy guidelines.
  • Consistent application of TravelSafe Global Tours’s practices and programs.
  • Engage in the preparation of sales budget weekly.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Travel Consulting, Travel Management, and Travel Arrangements skills
  • Customer Service and Reservations skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of visa regulations and procedures
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role is required
  • HND/BSc in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field
